Themed Learning for Little Kids
Our super fun themes tie all the fun and learning together. Each one of our Winter Break Camps has an exciting theme. Camp themes transform each camp into a thrilling and engaging adventure for the kids. Our themes are educational and promote learning in a fun way.
Arctic Animals Theme
December 22nd, December 28th, and December 31st
“Arctic Animals” immerses children in the icy world of the North, sparking curiosity about habitats, weather, and wildlife. Through sensory play and art, children explore textures (cold, smooth, fluffy), and learn animal adaptations like fur, blubber, and movement. The gross motor games and crafts encourage coordination, creativity, and expressive language, while storytelling builds memory, rhythm, and comprehension.
The Gingerbread Man Theme
December 23rd, December 29th, and January 2nd
“The Gingerbread Man” theme introduces storytelling and sequencing in a fun, active way. Children explore language patterns and rhymes while expressing creativity through dramatic play and art. Craft and sensory stations build fine motor skills, and movement games support gross motor development. The familiar story structure helps young learners gain confidence in retelling and predicting, key foundations for reading comprehension.
Reindeer Games Theme
December 27th, December 30th, and January 3rd
This energetic theme promotes imagination, teamwork, and confidence. Through movement, crafts, and storytelling, children explore what it means to work together, stay active, and believe in their unique abilities — all while developing coordination and communication skills.

What’s a day of camp like at Jump Gymnastics?
The kids are in our gym with our highly qualified coaches each day. These gym sessions focus on developing key gymnastics skills and include super fun games that help tie the learning together.
Our gym activities also feature non-competitive games designed for kids to participate fully (no waiting in line!), leave room for creativity, and help build skills. The games are simple, with a familiar format and few rules, so kids can easily understand them and focus on having fun. Kids learn best through play and movement!
During gym time, your little one will be learning social skills, motor skills, planning, listening, and more. This is often a child’s favorite part of gymnastics, where they get to move their bodies creatively while having a ton of fun.
Outside of the gym, we focus on active rest and “flexing” other muscles. Kids participate in process-driven crafts (to improve fine motor skills and concentration), and reading and literature time (to enhance language and communication skills). We also make sure to fuel our bodies properly! Kids bring food from home (we recommend two snacks and a lunch), and we make time to enjoy meals so they have energy for all activities.
