It’s not fun to play a game without any rules.

Imagine playing a game of hockey or soccer without any rules. It wouldn’t be very fun and lot’s of players, officials, and spectators would be really frustrated! Think of our Code of Conduct and Ethics like “the rules” in our sport. Everyone needs to follow the rules to be allowed to play and enjoy the sport. If someone does not follow the rules, there are consequences that can vary from a verbal or written warning to being removed from the game, team, or stands. Creating a fun, playful environment sometimes requires holding very firm boundaries!

At Jump Gymnastics, we are committed to providing a safe space where children and families can thrive. As a high quality sports program, not only do we have a Code of Conduct and Ethics, we have a consistent and accessible avenue to report incidents and complaints. If someone doesn’t follow the rules at Jump Gymnastics, we have a process that supports everyone on the team, playing the game, and watching from the sidelines (gym gate!).
